The company << Z E M E D >>
was established by Mr. Ryszard Kałuziński in 1988 with the intention to
perform maintenance, repairs and assembly of the tackling devices
subject to Technical Inspection Office (overhead travelling cranes,
hoists, lifting jacks and jib cranes) and is continued by now.
That activity is run up to the present day but the scope of services was
extended by electric wiring and machinery engineering (that is directly
connected with the priority profile of the plant activity from its
At present, the plant employs 12 workers – maintenance operators and
electricians – directly rendering services and three persons as office
All workers posses valid licenses of the Association of the Polish
Electricians and the technical Inspection Office, medical examinations
for work at height and OH&S training.
We have three maintenance operation teams, which perform 24h-services (2
hours for arriving at the place of failure) in the scope of tackling
devices operation maintenance, internal and external illumination,
electric driven industrial gates, industrial ventilation, as well as MV
and LV station servicing.
Starting from the day of the company foundation the scope of services
rendered by the plant is too long to specify it. However, it should be
noted that for such companies like Magneti Marelli Poland in Sosnowiec,
Automotive Lighting Poland in Sosnowiec, Rolled Glass-Works Jaroszowiec,
Huta Buczek Samkol Unit in Sosnowiec, Katowickie Przedsiębiorstwo Robót
Telekomunikacyjnych, ER-SI Poland in Sosnowiec, Intertech in Olesno, as
well as for other smaller companies, the services are rendered from the
of those companies foundation up today.
